Žanjice (Žanjic) is a long pebble beach on the Luštica peninsula, near the mouth of the Bay of Kotor. The water here is some of the clearest in the bay — deep blue shading to turquoise — and because the best of the coast around it is reachable only from the sea, the way to arrive is by boat.
On a private speedboat tour from Kotor, Žanjice sits right in the middle of the bay's greatest hits: the Blue Cave for a swim, Mamula Island fortress, the WWII submarine tunnels, and the tiny fishing village of Rose. We can make Žanjice a swim-and-lunch stop on a longer tour, or the turning point of a half-day on the water.
| How | Notes |
|---|---|
| By boat (recommended) | Private speedboat from Kotor's Park Slobode pier — scenic, fast, and combined with the Blue Cave and Mamula. |
| By car + path | A road leads to a car park above the beach on the Luštica side, then a walk down — slower and further from Kotor. |

The easiest and prettiest way is by boat. On a private speedboat tour from Kotor you cruise to Žanjice with the Blue Cave and Mamula right next door. There's also a road to a car park above the beach, but the boat is quicker and far more scenic.
